OPANAK

Opanak is a branding project design curated around Traditional Serbian culture. Rakija, which is universally known as brandy is a traditional Serbian beverage that holds a special place in Serbian culture and is often associated with hospitality, celebrations, and communal gatherings. It is a beverage that fosters a sense of togetherness, encouraging people to come together, celebrate, and connect with their cultural roots. Created within this project are three Rakija Flavors, Plum, Pear and Quince. Rakija is intimately linked with Serbian folklor, which is traditional dancing, as it symbolizes the joyful and communal spirit that is inherent in these cultural expressions. A poster featuring a Serbian festival, which would involve traditional dancing, is to promote the Rakija, to further develop the brand name. Lastly, a photobook will be featured to showcase the amazing traditional costumes that are worn when dancing. This conveys details that take months to sew and shows how special the costumes are.
