Hello! I’m Rachel McFadden, and I’m a multi-disciplinary graphic designer hailing from Western Sydney. While my love of design has taken many forms over the years, I currently have a focus on web and print design, and a keen interest in information design and branding. I am best described as a quiet, calm, and friendly introvert, and I love that being a designer allows me to work on such a diverse range of projects. I also love anything that makes the world a little more beautiful, and I aim to channel that passion into my design work.
The In Crowd
The In Crowd is the tool that every introvert wished already existed. While introverts make up 30-50% of the population, they are still viewed as the minority, and are overlooked in most social situations. Aimed at helping introverts socialise more comfortably and more often, The In Crowd app and guidebook directs introverts to spaces across their city that are tailored to their needs, including noise levels, space, lighting, loud music, layout, and more. Being introverted doesn’t have to mean being a hermit or being constantly mentally exhausted, and The In Crowd can help strike the balance.
