My name is Macey and I specialise in conceptual photography. My photography began as a hobby, taking pics of pets and plants and has now grown into something so much more.
To me, design and photography is all about communicating a specific idea or story in the best way possible. Whether I’m capturing a simple portrait or photo-shopping a friend into another creature, I always keep in mind that there is always a story to tell.

Encounters
In ufology, a close encounter is an event in which a person witnesses an unidentified flying object.
In the world of conceptual and fine art photography the theme of science fiction isn’t really explored compared to fairytales and folk tales. I wanted to bring my love and fascination with science fiction into modern day photo manipulation and cinema graphs.
This is a photo series that explores each of the 7 types of close encounter categories a person could possibly experience.
