My creative journey started at an early age, sketching the world around me with my crayons and capturing images on my hand-me-down polaroid camera. As I got older I found myself itching to create- photography, hand lettering and illustration were all on my list of things to try. Having completed a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communications) at Western Sydney University, these and many other skills have been added to my repertoire. My passion for exploration and adventure has transcended in to my design ethos, bringing a sense of honesty, rawness and energy that is balanced by my attention to detail.
Found – Major Project
Found aims to inspire individuals to unlock their inner explorer, giving them the tools and resources they need to get started, while connecting one another through social media as they share and engage with each other’s discoveries and adventures. This project is a response to a gap in the guidebook market, which currently lacks beautifully designed publications that contain easily accessible information. The locations featured in Found aren’t typical, well-known tourist attractions; rather, unique hidden gems across Greater Sydney. The project is based around a hardcover bound coffee table guidebook and is supplemented by a smartphone app and Instagram page.
